Qualifications
Education/Training:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Application specific training/certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proven track record of successful systems administration required.
• Strong scripting experience (VB | batch | DOS | Winbatch | SQL) required.

This position is responsible for configuration, administration, monitoring, upgrades, deployment, troubleshooting, and support for retail applications and environments. The person in this position will serve as a subject matter expert for one or more retail applications and environments. This person will also provide secondary backup to team mates that support other applications.
Key Performance Elements/Essential Functions
• Strong team orientation to provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting and resolution to technical and business issues and systems administration
• Daily administration, monitoring and trending of the retail environments.
• Work with team members to identify, install, configure, and secure solutions that meet business requirements
• Provide proactive best practice guidance to user community
• Work with outside vendors in trouble shooting applications; implement changes as and when necessary.
• Support corporate IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, processes, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
• Keep all application documentation up to date and current as changes are introduced into the environment
• Participate on project teams as needed.
• Provide backup support for other team members.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24*7 support
